NFL Draft Grades 2015: Analyzing Each Patriots Pick

A+

Malcom Brown

DT, Texas

Call me a homer, but I firmly believe this was not only the steal of the first round, but it was the steal of the entire draft. Like so many others, I had Brown getting picked in the top 15, and at the very worst, the top 20. He was one of the most talented overall players in this class, and I was beyond shocked when I saw him slip all the way down to the 32. Now, the Patriots get a player that is stout in the run game like a Vince Wilfork, but he is also effective in the passing game, as his ability to penetrate and push the pocket from the interior will be huge for this defense.
