Julian Edelman turns 34 next month, and entering the final year of his deal the Patriots could very well target a successor in next week’s NFL Draft.
Even if Edelman does stick around a few more years, they’d be wise to invest in an insurance policy. The veteran has an ACL tear and concussion history on the books, and last year suffered five different injuries, with a knee and should hurt so badly they both needed offseason surgery.
