Stop the presses! Roger Goodell is coming to Foxboro.
The NFL Commissioner, who hasn’t been to Gillette Stadium since the 2015 AFC divisional game 2015, which was just before Deflategate, indicated a short time ago he was coming.
During his session with the media, Goodell was asked if he knew where he’d be Sept. 7th, which is opening night for the Patriots. Goodell, who stood firm on Tom Brady's four-game Deflategate suspension, winning no fans in New England, played coy, but then acknowledged he was making the trip.
"I don't (know where I’ll be,” he said, “but I plan on being at the kickoff game.
