The New England Patriots defense is regaining a familiar name.
On Wednesday, free-agent linebacker Jamie Collins officially agreed to return to the Patriots for a third stint in Foxboro, the specific terms of the contract were not disclosed but ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports it is a one-year deal.
Collins’ agent David Canter formally announced the news over Twitter.

On September 28th, the Detroit Lions released Collins after failed attempts to trade him.
