Newly-signed $37.5 million linebacker has message for Patriots fans

New England Patriots linebacker Robert Spillane had a message for Patriots fans at his introductory press conference.

Spillane came in as part of the initial wave of free agent signings for the Patriots. He spent his last two seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, including one under then-head coach Josh McDaniels in 2023.

The former undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan broke out with 158 combined tackles, two sacks and seven pass deflections in 2024. That effort marked the second straight season he's had at least 100 tackles.

His toughness and lunch-pail mentality are two things that stand out the most about his game.
