No matter how old you are, that first real paycheck when you’re fresh out of college is for sure one of the sweetest. It’s that perfect rush of “Yeah, I earned that” and if you’re lucky, a healthy side of “Now we’re cooking with gas”.
New England’s two first-round picks in this year’s draft haven’t signed their rookie contracts yet (not to worry, it’s relatively common for highly drafted players to take a bit longer to cross the T’s and dot the lowercase j’s, especially if you play for the Chargers), but ESPN caught up with at least one of every team’s picks and asked them about their plans for that first big direct deposit that’ll hit their bank account soon enough.
