New England Patriots’ quarterback Mac Jones has struggled in the past two games, and he may not get much time to turn things around Sunday afternoon against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jones will be on a “short lease” and could be benched quickly if he gets off to a slow start, according to a report.
The third-year player completed a combined 24-of-43 passes for 260 with no touchdowns and four interceptions before being benched in each of his past two games. The Patriots lost those games by a combined score of 72-3. New England’s 34-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints dropped them to 1-4 on the season and they are now in desperation mode to get a win against the Raiders (2-3).
