After completing less than 50 percent of his pass attempts during the New England Patriots' season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs, Tom Brady looked more like his usual self on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. The future Hall of Famer completed 30 of 39 pass attempts, throwing for 447 yards and three touchdowns. Brady was spectacular and in total command from the get-go.

His performance did not only play an integral part in helping the Patriots improve their record to 1-1, it also earned him yet another accolade for his already packed résumé: According to ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss and since confirmed by the team, Brady was named the AFC's offensive player of the week.
