According to Ian Rapoport, of NFL Network, the Patriots extended a restricted free agent offer sheet to the Buffalo Bills for Mike Gillislee.
The Bills have 5 days to match. If they don’t, the Patriots will send Buffalo a 5th round pick. Gillislee spent the 2016 season backing up LeSean McCoy, who dealt with a number of injuries. As a result, Gillislee got 101 carries for 577 yards and eight touchdown rushes. He also had 11 receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown reception.
This is an interesting story because Blount continues to be spotted in and around Boston throughout the offseason.
