Believe it or not, the Cleveland Browns actually have the advantage over the New England Patriots.
Well, maybe not today they don’t. But historically-speaking, yes they do…
The Browns lead the all-time series against the Patriots 12-11 across 23 regular season meetings from 1971 to 2016. They also lead the postseason series1-0, thanks to a Wild Card win over New England following the 1994 season. Coincidentally, Cleveland’s head coach in that contest was none other than Bill Belichick.
That date also represents the last time the Browns won a playoff game.
It’s been almost a quarter of a century since that point, and in all that time, Cleveland has made it back to the postseason only once.
