With the 2017 NFL Draft just around the corner, the New England Patriots look relatively set to take the field in Week 1. After retaining key free agents Dont’a Hightower, Malcolm Butler, and Duron Harmon, the team can use the draft to address their future needs rather than replacing last year’s starters.
New England currently holds six picks in this year’s draft including two third-round picks, one fourth-round, one fifth-round, one sixth-round, and one seventh-round pick.
Although the Patriots don’t have many needs, they should consider adding depth to their front seven, in particular, the defensive end position.
