The New England Patriots have traded veteran offensive lineman Josh Kline and a draft pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for defensive back Eric Rowe, according to multiple reports.
ESPN's Adam Schefter was the first to report the news, with NFL Network's Ian Rapoport adding news of the draft pick being part of the deal. According to Rapoport, the pick is a fourth-rounder that can turn into a third-rounder.
Rowe is a second-year defensive back out of Utah who the Eagles took in the second round of last year's draft. He drew positive reviews as a prospect thanks to his versatility to line up as a safety and a cornerback.
