Browns are trading the sixth overall pick from the 2013 draft, LB Barkevious Mingo, to the New England Patriots, per source.
After this trade, and after acquiring Jonathan Cooper in the offseason, the Pats now have the sixth and seventh overall picks of that draft. Both came out of college with a ton of talent, but a combination of injuries and just being in the wrong system has really put a damper on their respective careers.
The addition of Mingo makes sense for the Patriots, not only because the team has had a lot of interest in him since that 2013 draft, but also because Rob Ninkovich is still sidelined with a triceps injury.
