As we feared, Ryan Wendell, the Patriots’ number one center is out on Sunday versus the Buffalo Bills. Wendell had been dealing with an illness all week, and was actually missing from practice today.
With Wendell out, expect New England to employ an interior line much like they used last week, where David Andrews, Tre’ Jackson, Shaq Mason, and Josh Kline all saw significant playing time. Three of those four players are rookies, although they played very well against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
