For the second straight week, the New England Patriots didn’t play very well but still came away with a fairly easy win on the road. It was more convincing last week against the Cowboys, but aside from a lucky pick-6 in the second quarter, the Patriots really controlled yesterday’s game from start to finish, proving once again the Colts have a long way to go before they can compete with New England.
This thing really was over after Chuck Pagano’s idiotic fake-punt that went wrong in the third quarter, as the Patriots quickly responded with a touchdown, and that gave the Pats a comfortable cushion for the remainder of the contest.
