The New England Patriots improved to 12-2 on Sunday after they cruised to a fairly easy 33-16 win over the lowly Tennessee Titans. It was far from perfect, but when you play the Titans, you can honestly give 30% and still walk away with a comfortable victory. As a result of the win, the Patriots have now clinched a first round bye in the playoffs, and they are one win away from securing home field advantage.
New England’s defense honestly stole the show in this game, holding the Titans to 13 points, and 282 total yards. They also racked up five sacks, as it appears they haven’t missed a beat in that department with interior rusher Dominique Easley sidelined for the rest of the season.
