The doors at Gillette Stadium remain shuttered, so the Patriots have been holding virtual meetings as the 2020 season creeps closer.
It’s definitely not what players are used to in May, but on a video conference call with reporters, cornerback Jonathan Jones said the team has still been relishing their cyber time together.
“It’s been fun. It’s definitely been a changeup," Jones said. "It’s the closest we have to get the camaraderie of the group. The rookies just joined in with us, so just having that camaraderie, everyone getting to talk and spend time together, it’s a little bit different, but as with everything you learn to adapt.
