From Friends University to the USFL to the NFL, defensive lineman Jeremiah Pharms Jr.‘s unlikely story will continue in New England.
As noted by his agency, the Patriots have re-signed Pharms to a two-year contract extension. According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Pharms' deal includes $250,000 in guaranteed money.
Pharms was set to be an exclusive-rights free agent this offseason, which meant he was locked in to a cheap one-year deal if the Patriots wanted to bring him back. But instead of offering the minimum tender, New England signed Pharms to a multi-year deal that included more money.
