FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —
New England Patriots defensive back Cody Davis and more than a dozen of his teammates treated dozens of Massachusetts foster children to a day of video games.
Through his charity, Cody's Gamers, Davis partnered with the Patriots Foundation and the Wonderfund invited 50 kids to spend an afternoon at Helix eSports at Patriot Place in Foxborough.
Davis came up with the idea after he, like many people, spent a lot of time playing video games during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"So we started Cody's Gamers this year. It's been a year in the making, trying to figure out how we can really serve our community," Davis said.
