As the offseason gets rolling, Pro Football Focus recently named the top 10 defensive free agents. As expected, the New England Patriots had their cornerback Malcolm Butler make the list of top free agent defensive players.
The relationship between Butler and the Patriots has certainly been an interesting one in the past few years. Butler burst on the scene for the Patriots with one of the most memorable plays in Super Bowl history. The interception against the Seahawks helped secure the Patriots a Super Bowl win, and it also made him a household name.
Since then, Butler has become a very good cornerback in the NFL.
