FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —
The New England Patriots may be without their leading tackler when they face the Buffalo Bills in a crucial game between AFC East rivals.
Patriots defensive back Kyle Dugger, who has a team-high 80 total tackles, was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday.
ESPN’s Field Yates reports that Dugger tested positive for COVID-19 and that his status for Monday’s game is unknown at this time. Yates reported earlier in the afternoon that Dugger missed Wednesday's practice because the team was awaiting more information on the situation.
Dugger has started 10 of New England’s 12 games this season and has also made three interceptions, four pass deflections and one fumble recovery.
