The New England Patriots paid a lot for defensive lineman Milton Williams in free agency. Now they’re going to want their money’s worth.
That’s going to involve asking him to play more than half of the team’s defensive snaps.
Williams was a dominant force for the Philadelphia Eagles last season, especially in the Super Bowl. However, it was in a limited role as he rotated among other talented defensive linemen.
During Williams' introduction at Gillette Stadium Thursday, new head coach Mike Vrabel made it clear that the team doesn’t view him as a part-time player.
