The New England Patriots have released today’s inactive list.
The injury bug has hit Foxboro hard, and this list is reflective of that. Shaq Mason and Marcus Cannon are both out, as is Jabaal Sheard and Dion Lewis. However Ryan Wendell and Dont’a Hightower are both playing, as is Matthew Slater, who was expected to miss a few weeks.
New England is only carrying two running backs today (Blount and James White), so I think that only reinforces the notion that they will be spreading the Jets out, and throwing the ball a lot.
