The New England Patriots landed one of the steals of the first round by taking defensive tackle Malcom Brown with 32nd overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Brown, my 21st-ranked prospect, immediately helps the Patriots’ interior on defense. With Vince Wilfork signing with the Houston Texans in free agency, the Patriots desperately needed an infusion of youth and talent at defensive tackle. Brown provides both, and joins Sealver Siliga, Alan Branch, Joe Vellano, Chris Jones and Dominique Easley atop the Patriots’ depth chart.
