After missing out on Marvin Jones and Rishard Matthews, it appears the New England Patriots have turned their attention to a more affordable wide receiver.
Chris Hogan, a restricted free agent from the Buffalo Bills, will visit the Patriots Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
If the Patriots sign him to an offer sheet, the Bills have five days to match.
Hogan has 77 receptions for 876 yards over the past two seasons with Buffalo. He is a former college lacrosse player at Penn State who transferred to Monmouth and used his fifth year of NCAA eligibility to play football.
