The New England Patriots have made their first move in 2016 free agency.
And it's a very Patriots-esque signing.
The Pats agreed on a one-year deal with ex-Saints linebacker Ramon Humber, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
Humber is considered to be primarily a special teamer; in 2015, he played 50 percent of New Orleans' special teams snaps and just 25 percent of their defensive snaps.
Humber had been with the Saints since 2010. He signed a two-year contract a year ago, but was cut in early February.
The 5-foot-11, 232-pound Humber was undrafted out of North Dakota State in 2009.
