Here are my final regular season grades for the 2015 New England Patriots:
Passing Offense: B
When you look back at this regular season, it’s almost like the Patriots had two different passing offenses. There was the one that resembled the 2007 attack through week 10, and then there was the one that resembled a fairly average, if not mediocre offense from week 11-17. Here’s a pretty telling statistic: Brady averaged 338.1 yards a game in weeks 1-10, but only 246.7 in weeks 11-17.
The difference? Julian Edelman. I think we all saw how important number 11 is to this offense this year, and Brady will really benefit from his return in the postseason.
