As we head toward the beginning on NFL free agency, the New England Patriots have multiple players that played a big part in their Super Bowl run that aren’t under contract. One of the most notable is wide receiver, Danny Amendola.
Last season, Amendola was able to have one of his best seasons with the Patriots. Mainly due to him staying healthy, Amendola totaled 61 receptions, 659 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.
In the preseason, the loss of Julian Edelman to a tore ACL looked like it would cripple the Patriots. However, Amendola was able to play well in the slot for the Patriots throughout the season and helped fill the void.
