New England Patriots crunch time woes are torpedoing their season | Chris Mason

Whether blowout victory or heartbreaking loss, Bill Belichick opens every postgame press conference with a statement offering his own assessment of what transpired.

“Well, this is the third time we’ve been in this situation this year,” Belichick began Sunday evening.

Cam Newton was stopped on the 1-yard line in Seattle.
