A New England Patriots player is recovering from blood clots, the team announced Sunday.
Christian Barmore, a defensive tackle for the Patriots, was diagnosed with blood clots over the weekend, the team said.
Barmore was evaluated and diagnosed with blood clots at Mass General Brigham over the weekend, according to a statement posted to the Patriots' website.
"Our principal concern at this time is Christian's health and wellbeing," the statement said. "Fortunately, Mass General Brigham provides some of the best healthcare in the world."
Barmore's agent, Nicole Lynn, thanked Patriots trainer Jim Whalen for "his absolute diligence and care" in a post on X.
