The New England Patriots absolutely annihilated the Jacksonville Jaguars yesterday, going up by as many as 41 points, and ultimately winning 51-17. This was a complete mismatch, as Tom Brady and company jumped up on the Jags early and often.
New England’s offense went up and down the field on Jacksonville, and the defense showed up as well, on all fronts. The run defense was great, the pass rush was there, and despite a few blown coverages, I thought the secondary held up nicely. When the Pats play complimentary football like this, there is not a single football team that can beat them.
