This morning, Cyrus Geller gave us his thoughts on the rumors surrounding the New England Patriots and Reggie Wayne, saying that signing Wayne would stunt the growth of developing wideouts Aaron Dobson and Brian Tyms.
I agree with my co-editor; I think that signing Wayne would be a bit of a head-scratcher. Wayne is on the wrong side of 35, and he is far from the player he was in 2012 when he posted 106 receptions for 1,355 yards and five touchdowns. To put it in perspective, Wayne has failed to match that production in the past two seasons combined (102 catches, 1,282 yards, four touchdowns).
