Former Ohio University Bobcats quarterback Nathan Rourke was claimed off waivers Monday by the New England Patriots, according to multiple reports.
Rourke was waived by the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. He thanked the team with a tweet Monday.
Rourke hasn't attempted a regular-season pass, but the former star quarterback of the Canadian Football League's BC Lions had a remarkable preseason highlight for Jacksonville against the Dallas Cowboys.
Rourke signed a reserve/future contract with Jacksonville in January after a breakout 2022 season in the CFL.
