BEREA, Ohio — Myles Garrett heads into the Patriots game Sunday with an injured foot, and he hopes rookie quarterback Mac Jones doesn’t get his mitts on it like he did to the last guy.
Jones, who has the Patriots at an impressive 5-4 and contending for the playoffs, took heat Sunday for allegedly twisting the previously sore ankle of Panthers edge-rusher Brian Burns after a strip-sack during the Patriots’ 24-6 victory.
Burn’s teammate Hasson Reddick called it a dirty play, and Burns said “I would just like to play them again. And I wish all my fellow D-end brothers happy hunting.
