FOXBORO — Before the start of Thursday’s training camp practice, Moses Cabrera cycled through his routine.
He talked amongst players, followed by conversations with other assistants. Then, for at least five minutes, he and Bill Belichick stood next to each other and spoke while they, nearly in unison, twirled lanyards around their fingers.
Finally, Cabrera stood to the back of the practice field and blew his whistle on cadence for the entire team as it stretched back and forth across the width of the field. The period ended and a handful of players headed toward the back hill to rehab.
