The team has completed the OTAs, Mini-Camp, and Pre-Season, and we still don’t know what the team has because of injuries to the Offensive line. I am confident that the proven Bill O’Brien system will work again in the NFL.
That is not the problem, it is the inconsistency of the Offensive line. The Patriots made two trades prior to the cutdown for young, unproven Offensive Tackles. There is a lot to like about the potential of Vederian Lowe and Tyrone Wheatley Jr. Both are tall, big-bodied Tackles with long arms. Are either of them ready to start against the vaunted Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Ends?
