Driving with expired license plates ranks low on Johnny Manziel’s list of transgressions, but it simply adds to the avalanche of negative news surrounding the embattled Browns quarterback.
North Olmsted, Ohio, police stopped Manziel about 8:30 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 480 and cited him for driving with plates that expired on Sept. 20, 2015, according to the traffic ticket. Manziel can pay a $125 fine to waive the case.
USA Today reported Manziel was spotted in Las Vegas later Saturday, just two days after the Browns ruled him out for Sunday’s season finale with a concussion. He attempted to disguise himself at a club on the strip by wearing a blond wig, fake mustache, glasses and hoodie while using the pseudonym “Billy,” according to ESPN Las Vegas.
