The Patriots have concluded their three-day minicamp from Gillette Stadium. Here are the Herald’s observations from the final practice.
Attendance notes:
Malcolm Butler was absent for the first time. The reason remains unclear, but nobody appeared concerned about the absence. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s back on the field next week for the final stretch of OTAs.
Duron Harmon participated during some third-string team drills before departing for the lower field for conditioning work. It’s the longest he has practiced this week while recovering from offseason surgery.
Dont'a Hightower, Alan Branch and Malcolm Mitchell stuck with their routine of watching the early walkthrough before departing for the lower field.
