New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel seemed incredibly optimistic when discussing the new cornerback pairing of Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis III.
Davis is coming off a 2024 season that saw him record 11 pass deflections, a forced fumble and two interceptions on the year. Gonzalez is coming off an All-Pro season in which he established himself as one of the best corners in football. He tallied 59 tackles, 11 pass deflections and two interceptions on the season.
Together, Davis and Gonzalez should solidify a Patriots' defensive backfield that was already one of the stronger units on the team.
