INDIANAPOLIS — Mike Vrabel was taking a brief break from the various draft interviews he was doing Monday night on the first day of the NFL combine to say hello to some old friends from Cleveland.
Vrabel has been in his first several weeks as the head coach of the New England Patriots. He had spent last year, though, working as a consultant for the Browns, both with general manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski, after having been fired by the Tennessee Titans.
"I walked into the suite last night in between interviews and they said, Oh, get out of here,'" Vrabel said Tuesday at the combine.
