The Patriots' QB situation will be fascinating to watch over the coming weeks and months.
As of now, there's Jarrett Stidham, Brian Hoyer and two undrafted rookies -- J'Mar Smith and Brian Lewerke.
Many believe Stidham will be the starter, but appearing on Dale & Keefe with Andy Hart Friday, NFL Media's Mike Giardi was asked who would take the first-team reps if the Patriots had a training camp practice today.
“Brian Hoyer," he said. "Look, I think there are so many different ways to look at this and the way they are approaching this and you mention Mike Lombardi, and Lombardi has been for the last three weeks pounding the Cam Newton drum as still a real possibility and a good landing spot for him.
