FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The first time I met future Patriots Hall of Fame running back Kevin Faulk, I didn't know who he was.
It was in the weeks before the 1999 NFL draft, and if memory serves correctly, I was sitting on one side of head coach Pete Carroll's desk alongside Patriots Football Weekly colleague Bryan Morry. We were waiting for Carroll to arrive, when we would ask him questions for his "Carroll's Corner" piece in PFW, when the always energetic coach came buzzing in with a young visitor.
"Hey guys, say hello to Kevin," Carroll said.
