Despite one of their best players now wearing a different uniform, the New England Patriots feel good about trading Matthew Judon to the Atlanta Falcons.
Appearing on 98.5 The Sports Hub ahead of his team’s preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo spoke about the trade that became official on Thursday. Mayo said that trade talks had begun “a long time ago,” and that he feels the outcome would be a good one for all parties involved.
“I think it’s a win-win,” Mayo said. “We didn’t look at it as this negotiation or trade has to be a win-lose situation.
