Patriots left tackle Matt Light said he was disappointed by the backlash he received from former teammates concerning his remarks aimed at the 16 Patriots players who kneeled during the national anthem at Gillette Stadium Sunday.
Light told the Herald after the game that he was "ashamed" to be a Patriot after witnessing the protest. He said he considers kneeling for the anthem wrong.
Last night he indicated that criticism from former teammates was off base because they failed to get all of the details.
