Marquis Flowers has “nothing but love and appreciation” for the Patriots organization, the linebacker shared Saturday, just hours after the team released him.
Flowers, who expressed his gratitude on Instagram, said he “enjoyed every last second” in New England and “wouldn’t change it for nothing.” He said he understands how things go in the NFL, making it clear that he hopes he’s just getting started. Flowers has had his ups and downs since he entered the league, but he’s certainly shown his ability in flashes.
A sixth-round selection by the Bengals in 2014, Flowers joined the Patriots in 2017 and appeared in all 16 games.
