New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Demario “Pop” Douglas is making quite an impression on his teammates. That includes second-year cornerback Marcus Jones, who recently gave the rookie wide receiver tremendous praise.
Douglas has been making himself known over the course of training camp. However, success is nothing new for the sixth-round draft pick, who quarterback Mac Jones called a Jacksonville “legend”.
Now, he is impressing on a national stage.
Jones has yet to win a one-on-one rep against Douglas in training camp. When speaking with the media, he explained what made the rookie such a tough cover.
