FOXBORO — Defensive tackle Malcom Brown (ankle) and cornerback Eric Rowe (groin) missed another practice today, which further clarifies their respective statuses for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Rowe definitely won’t play, as he hasn’t practiced since aggravating the groin injury in Week 4 against the Panthers. He’ll miss his fourth consecutive game and the fifth overall due to the issue.
Brown almost certainly won’t play, either. It’s been at least nine years since a Patriot has missed the full week of practice and played in that week’s game.
Brown was in the locker room yesterday during media access, and he didn’t have any protective gear on either ankle.
