Sunday’s battle between the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens was painful enough given the mistakes and miscues for Mac Jones and the offense, but it looks like there was a potential injury added to the insult for Jones at the end of this one.
The Patriots quarterback saw the Ravens’ Calais Campbell land on his ankle late in the game as Jones threw up what would be his third interception of the afternoon, which saw the second-year QB yell out in pain and hop off the field in serious agony.
Greg Bedard of Boston Sports Journal reported that Jones was carried off the field to the locker room screaming in pain, which could be a sign that it’s a significant injury.
