Mac Jones sure sounds like a guy who’s relieved not to be on the New England Patriots anymore.
The former Patriots quarterback is heading into his first training camp with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Talking to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, Jones said that he’s more relaxed in his hometown of Jacksonville.
“The whole change of scenery definitely helped. I’m just having fun playing football,” Jones said to The Athletic.
“I’m at my best when I’m keeping it loose, letting it rip and having that gunslinger mindset that I maybe had lost a little bit of,” Jones added.
