FOXBOROUGH – Can the Patriots make a run?
After beating the New York Jets last weekend, the Patriots are meeting their Week 9 opponent, the Indianapolis Colts, at the right time. Indy has benched veteran quarterback Matt Ryan in favor of 2021 sixth-round pick Sam Ehlinger. After a disappointing offensive performance last week, the organization fired offensive coordinator Marcus Brady. On top of that, the Colts’ best offensive player, running back Jonathan Taylor, is dealing with an ankle injury.
Sunday afternoon seems like a perfect time for the 4-4 Patriots to get a win against a struggling opponent.
